Been stranded in AL for 3 days had 2 different trucks break down on me in less than 24 hours was on side of interstate with my daughter for 6 hours and had to pay for my own motel both nights because there trucks broke down on me
The worst rental company ever. I had the truck reserved for a Monday and went to pick it up and they did not have it in stock. The company said the customers didn't bring it back the day they agreed upon. So if I would just start a new reservation for the next day, meaning Tuesday. That I could come and pick up the truck. So Tuesday arrives, and I call the Budget office to make sure that the truck is in stock. The guy on the phone asks me if anyone had called me? I replied no, and he replied, they should have. He said they didn't have the truck in Stock. Then I call customer service and they tell me my truck is ready in Kingsport on Wednesday!!!
Just dropped off the truck don't have an experience with them
So basically they changed my reservation to a different day, and a different location 100 miles out of my way. Please do not give companies like this your money. We work to hard for our money and precious time to be given the run around.
Janky as hell. There was no one at the office for the first hour we arrived. The number on the door to call was linked inside to the office, so obviously no one was going to answer. Weird customer service person, and then we got the most ghetto rental truck I've ever seen, or used. Word of advice, go for Penske or Uhaul.
